Audit Quality – Methodology Senior Manager (London) - £75-85,000

A leading professional services firm is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Quality – Methodology Senior Manager to join its growing Audit Quality & Technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong audit professional to move into a high-profile role focused on audit methodology, quality improvement, technical guidance, and regulatory compliance within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Opportunity

Audit quality sits at the centre of the firm’s long-term strategy and continued investment. As part of a growing central quality function, you’ll play a key role in supporting engagement teams, enhancing audit methodology, and driving consistency and excellence across the audit practice.

Working closely with Partners, Directors, and senior stakeholders, you’ll contribute to a range of strategic methodology and reporting initiatives while acting as a trusted technical advisor across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver key audit methodology and reporting projects
  • Develop and update technical guidance, policies, and methodology documentation
  • Respond to technical audit and methodology queries from audit teams
  • Assist with the development and delivery of audit methodology training
  • Provide support to sector teams and regional offices on audit-specific technical matters
  • Contribute to ongoing quality management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support compliance with ISAs, internal audit methodology, and quality standards

About You

  • ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards, IFRS and ISAs
  • Proven audit experience at ideally Senior Manager level within a UK based professional services environment
  • Prior exposure to audit methodology, audit quality, or technical advisory work is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience designing or delivering technical training would be advantageous
  • Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach
