Audit Quality – Tools Manager (London) - £70-75,000
Our client, a leading global accountancy and business advisory firm, is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Quality Tools Manager to join its growing Audit Quality function.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA/equivalent qualified audit professional with a passion for technology, audit methodology and continuous improvement to move into a central role supporting audit quality across the firm.
The Role
Working within the firm's Audit Quality team, you will play a key role in the development, management and support of audit tools, intellectual resources and technology solutions used by audit teams nationwide.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing audit tools and methodology-related projects
- Supporting the development and testing of bespoke audit software and assurance libraries
- Acting as a subject matter expert for audit tools and providing technical support
- Liaising with internal IT teams regarding audit technology
- Producing and maintaining guidance and technical documentation
- Delivering training on audit tools and new technologies
- Supervising and developing junior members of the team
- Supporting quality control activities within the firm's System of Quality Management
- Building strong relationships with audit teams and senior stakeholders across the business

About You
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong external audit experience gained within practice
- A genuine interest in audit technology and innovation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members

Previous experience within Audit Quality, Methodology, Audit Tools, Data Analytics or Audit Innovation would be advantageous but is not essential.
