Our Audit team in Manchester are growing, and we’re currently seeking an Audit Semi Senior to join them on their journey.

About The Day To Day…
As an Audit Semi Senior working within our Manchester office, you will be assisting the managers and assistant managers to ensure the delivery of statutory audits across our client portfolio. You’ll get stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including;
- Assisting in the day-to-day conduct of audits and supporting the trainees
- Ensure that you are fully briefed on the requirements of the assignment, including any special factors, in order to be fully efficient from the first day of the assignment
- Carry out the audit procedures allocated to you
- Monitor overall progress against the timetable and budget
- Resolve audit queries to the extent that you feel able to do so
- Make suggestions for amendments to the assignment approach when you perceive more efficient means to the same end
- Be prepared to make suggestions to the Manager for the improvement of client procedures
- Facilitate the completion of the job by ensuring appropriate procedures are complied with
- Communicating to management on the progress of workload and planning for efficient completion

In addition to those core values, as an Audit Semi Senior you should;
- ACA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalent
- Experience working in a practice environment working with Privately Owned Businesses or a mixed portfolio
- Experience planning and completing audits as well as account preparation
- Experience using an analytical review process
- Experience in delegating and reviewing work of trainees within the team
