Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior – Audit & Assurance Team
Location: Southampton | Employer: Prestigious Chartered Accountancy Firm
TPF Recruitment proudly represents an esteemed firm of Chartered Accountants headquartered in Southampton, seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join their dynamic Audit & Assurance team.
About the Role
As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the audit services for our clients—delivering excellence in audit and wider professional services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting audits in accordance with auditing standards and statutory requirements.
- Preparing financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports.
- Supporting the planning and execution of audit engagements, including risk assessment and testing.
- Collaborating with clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency in audit and accounting.
- Building strong client and team relationships to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Monitoring regulatory changes and industry developments impacting audit and accounting practices.
- Assisting senior team members with ad hoc assignments and projects.

Requirements
- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Prior experience in a comparable role at a reputable accounting firm.
- Strong grasp of auditing principles and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Outstandingly effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

- Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification status).
