Audit Senior
Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 + Excellent Benefits
Location: Kent (Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

The Role
As an Audit Senior, you'll be responsible for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard, within agreed budgets and deadlines. You'll work closely with managers, partners, and clients while providing day-to-day guidance to more junior members of the audit team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Organise and chair audit planning meetings with clients.
- Supervise, coach, and review the work of Audit Semi Seniors and Audit Assistants.
- Prepare key audit documentation, reports, and completion files.
- Identify technical issues and work with managers to resolve more complex matters.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the audit process.
- Build long-term client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, engagement documentation, and internal quality standards.
- Monitor workflow, budgets, and deadlines across your assignments.
- Support wider members of the audit team when required.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Previous experience leading external audit assignments.
- Strong knowledge of UK audit standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
