Are you an experienced audit professional with expertise in capital markets and private equity, looking for your next career move?

We are seeking an Audit Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of capital markets and private equity clients, supporting the delivery of high-quality audit work across a dynamic and specialist client base.

Our audit team is growing, and this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting ambitious, complex and fast-moving clients. As an Audit Senior Manager, you will work closely with Partners and Directors to manage client relationships, oversee audit delivery, and support the continued development of our people and proposition in this space.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm where your insight, technical expertise and leadership will make a real impact - both within our team and for our clients.

You will make an impact by:

  • Managing a portfolio of capital markets and private equity audit clients
  • Identifying and resolving key audit matters and contentious items, in consultation with clients, senior members of the team and our national technical team as appropriate
  • Leading, coaching and developing audit teams to deliver high-quality work and an excellent client experience
  • Being actively involved in business development activity, including building relationships, supporting proposals and contributing to the growth of our capital markets and private equity audit offering

What we are looking for:

Are you someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working with complex clients, and is confident building trusted relationships? If you enjoy leading teams, solving technical challenges and supporting clients through key stages of growth and change, this role could be perfect for you!

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Extensive audit experience, ideally with exposure to capital markets, private equity-backed businesses or other complex corporate clients
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to coach and develop a team while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Previous experience managing audit engagements, supporting business development activity and contributing to team development would be advantageous
