You’ll oversee audits for clients with £10m–£400m+ in turnover, mentor junior staff, and maintain robust audit standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Audit Leadership
    • Plan, execute, and complete full cycles of audits for 70–80 clients
    • Ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards
  • Client & Team Coordination
    • Lead audit teams, including reviewing junior work
    • Maintain strong client relationships and advise on findings
  • Technical & Software Proficiency
    • Use industry-standard software: Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, IRIS
    • Oversee preparation of statutory accounts and audit documentation
  • Additional Workstreams
    • Contribute to ad-hoc assurance and advisory projects

The Perfect Candidate

✔ Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA qualified)
  • 2+ years of post-qualification audit experience

✔ Experience & Skills

  • Proven track record in leading audits and managing teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit and assurance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and client-consultation skills
