We’re seeking an experienced, diligent, and highly motivated Audit Senior to strengthen our client’s busy Audit and Accounts team. You’ll play a central role in the full audit process, ensuring adherence to the highest standards—from planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely in the following critical functions:
- Plan, deliver, and finalize audit and accounts assignments, meeting high standards and all deadlines.
- Prepare and finalize financial statements and tax computations.
- Present work files to Business Advisors and Directors for review, aligning with agreed-upon timelines.
- Develop and monitor audit assignment budgets.
- Set clear objectives for junior audit staff, oversee and train them on-site.
- Review junior audit work, offering constructive feedback to drive continuous development.
- Maintain informative updates for Business Advisors and Directors on ongoing progress.
- Cultivate and sustain strong working relationships with clients.
- Commit to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to remain industry updated.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold an ACA or ACCA qualification (part-qualified candidates may also be viewed).
- Have recent audit experience in a practice environment, specialising in leading external Audit assignments from planning to completion.
- Familiarity with FRS102 is essential.
- Demonstrate superb communication skills for engaging with senior staff and clients.
- Exhibit high motivation coupled with a disciplined, methodical approach to workload prioritisation.
- Prove the ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities.
- Present exceptional attention to detail.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly possessing intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
- Bonus if you have IRIS Accountancy Software experience.
