You'll work closely with Partners, have direct client exposure from day one, and be trusted to take ownership of engagements far earlier than would typically be possible within a larger firm.
The Role
As a Senior Auditor, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion while developing trusted client relationships and supporting junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Managing audit delivery and ensuring work is completed to a high technical standard
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout engagements, building trusted relationships and communicating confidently with stakeholders at all levels
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supervising, reviewing, and mentoring junior staff
- Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts
- Contributing to process improvements and best practice across the team

What You'll Bring
- 2-5 years' audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships and interact directly with clients
- Ability to explain technical matters clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- ACA/ACCA qualified, finalist, or part-qualified with a clear commitment to completing qualification
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and ISAs (UK)
- IFRS exposure would be advantageous
- Experience preparing statutory accounts would be beneficial
- Exposure to both audit and accounts preparation is desirable but not essential
