Audit Supervisor Opportunity
We are recruiting for an Audit Supervisor on behalf of an ambitious accountancy practice that is experiencing significant growth and has secured a significant amount of new audit work, hence the need to build the dynamic audit team. The firm would like to speak to ACA or ACCA qualified accountants who are able to bring previous audit experience gained within practice to the team.

Role Overview
Within this role, you will provide complete and efficient delivery to the audit department management team and principals. This role, with the emphasis on audit, that will include overseeing and undertaking audits and accounts work, both in the office and at client premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing Client Portfolio: Dependent on experience, and as experience grows, managing a mixed portfolio of small to medium sized audit clients.
- Audit Process: Carry out audits from planning, leading the audit, through to completion.
- Team Leadership: Providing guidance and reviewing the work from junior team members.
- Audit File Management: Design and delivery of audit file in such condition with minimal review points.
- Technical Expertise: Providing technical expertise to design technical solutions.
- Financial Statements: Preparation and review of statutory financial statements.
- Staff Management: Prepare staff appraisal at end of the audit.
- Client Interaction: Supervising and assisting where necessary a team of junior members of staff. Liaison with clients and HMRC.
- Relationship Management: Maintaining and developing client relationships, both written communication and conducting face to face meetings.
- Additional Duties: Other ad hoc duties in line with business requirements.

Required Criteria
- Qualification: Qualified ACA or ACCA with experience of leading audits.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years previous experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Service Excellence: Able to provide an outstanding and professional service to give the client the benefit of exceptional advice and maximum added value.
- IT Skills: Good general IT skills with experience of accounting and audit software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and research skills.
- Task Ownership: Takes ownership of assigned tasks and adopts a proactive approach.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships, use own initiative, organise and prioritise workload.
