At Evri, transport safety and compliance sit at the heart of everything we do.

Our Transport Development Team plays a vital role in raising standards, strengthening road safety, and shaping positive driver and management behaviours across the business.

We’re now looking for a Auditor (Transport Development) to join the team and act as a key compliance checkpoint across all Evri sites. This role offers a real opportunity to influence standards, support operational excellence and help shape the future of transport development across our Group.

This role is based in Enfield on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract Basis.

What you'll be doing:

You’ll work closely with sites and leadership teams to assess, support and continuously improve transport compliance and performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out routine transport audits across all Evri sites, including 28‑day, quarterly, bi‑annual and annual reviews Preparing for audits remotely using company‑approved systems, followed by on‑site audits as required Ensuring Earned Recognition standards (Driver and Vehicle) are met prior to physical site visits Collating audit findings and delivering clear, structured feedback to stakeholders Presenting audit outcomes and recommendations to site teams and Area‑level leadership Creating and maintaining audit records in line with DVSA and ISO standards Identifying training and development needs for site transport teams Supporting succession planning by highlighting future talent for transport roles Ensuring audits are delivered consistently, fairly and within agreed timeframes Contributing to wider Transport Development initiatives and projects Keeping up to date with legislative changes and industry best practice through continuous professional development

What you'll bring to the role:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Confident in using Microsoft Office packages Professional Competency in Transport Management (CPC) with relevant experience is desirable Experience managing processes in a fast‑paced operational environment Strong understanding of Operator License obligations is desirable Proven experience in using TACHO master is desirable Proven ability to analyse data, collate information and influence stakeholders Experience creating efficient systems and ways of working Confident creating and delivering content across a range of transport topics Ability to influence through data and insight to all levels across the organisation Exceptional attention to detail with strong cross‑referencing skills Experience supporting and driving change management
