Location – We have Multiple Services Around Wirral and Ellesmere Port
Hours: Work as part of our team of Flexible Support Workers (Bank/Relief) choosing when you work. Our daytime shifts are typically long days 07:00-2200 or half days 0730-1600 or 1600-2200 or waking night shifts are typically 2000-0800 or 2130-0730. Although this may vary from service to service.
Who are we?
Autism Together is one of the country’s leading providers of services and support to autistic people and their families. It is an exciting time to be joining the charity within one of our Residential properties across Wirral and West Cheshire as we are looking to grow the team.
Responsibilities
- Work across our regional area 1,2 and 3 services to include complex care
- Accompany the people we support to leisure and personal activities or appointments
- Support people to attend work or daytime activities - often in our own Day Services
- Help to maintain good domestic standards within the service (house) – encouraging the service user to participate in all domestic activities.
- Help with personal care if required
- Update paperwork/online care systems and other administration tasks as needed
- Prepare meals for or with the people we support – ensuring they have a healthy and balanced diet.
- Administer medication as and when required (full training provided)
- Support people through times when they are feeling anxious and display risk behaviours

- willing to learn about autism and the work of a support worker
- able to make a real positive difference to the lives of the people we support

- able to work flexible hours over shift patterns
- be reliable (key for relief workers)

Salary: 13.55 - 14.15 GBP Per hour
