Why join us
Joining the Sainsbury's team as an Automation Artworker means being part of a dynamic and innovative environment where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, print-ready POS and production artwork. With a focus on automation and efficiency, you'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with talented teams, ensuring outputs meet brand and production standards while supporting the effective use of automation tools. What You'll Do
As an Automation Artworker at Sainsbury's, you will be responsible for creating and finalising high-quality POS and print-ready artwork by utilising a combination of manual artwork expertise and automated / template-based systems. Your role will involve reviewing briefs, assets, and specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy, conducting quality checks on both manual and automated outputs, and ensuring all artwork meets brand, legal, and production standards. You will apply templates and automation tools to produce artwork at scale, maintain accurate version control, and act as the final quality gate before artwork goes to print. Collaboration with designers, production teams, and external suppliers to resolve artwork queries and ensure accurate delivery will be crucial, along with supporting the continuous improvement of templates, tools, and ways of working.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
