Your Role
This role focuses on building the execution layer for autonomous network operations. The Automation & Platform Engineer will design, implement, and operate automation workflows, orchestration pipelines, intent-to-configuration processes, platform services, API gateways, and cloud-native infrastructure required to execute autonomous network actions safely and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation workflows for autonomous network use cases.
- Build intent-to-configuration pipelines that translate validated intents into network actions.
- Develop reusable automation playbooks, templates, modules, and orchestration workflows.
- Implement automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support integration with vendor EMS/NMS, SDN controllers, cloud platforms, OSS, inventory, assurance, and orchestration systems.
- Build secure API-based execution frameworks using REST APIs, TMF Open APIs, NETCONF/RESTCONF, gRPC, Graph APIs, and vendor-specific APIs.
- Implement execution guardrails including policy validation, approval gates, rollback mechanisms, dry-run checks, and audit logging.
- Develop platform capabilities for AI/LLM-driven agents to safely trigger network actions.
- Support deployment and operation of AI platforms such as Vertex AI or similar.
- Integrate with vector databases, graph APIs, data pipelines, MCP servers, and automation backends.
- Support Kubernetes-based deployment of automation services, agent services, APIs, and microservices.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code for platform environments and network automation resources.
- Ensure automation platforms meet security, compliance, availability, observability, and operational resilience requirements.
Your Profile
- Experience in network automation, platform engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or telecom automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, REST APIs, and automation pipelines.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience integrating with network controllers, OSS platforms, cloud platforms, and vendor APIs.
- Understanding of telecom network domains such as RAN, Core, Transport, IP/MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud, or OSS.
- Experience developing intent-to-configuration or policy-driven automation workflows.
- Experience with API management, service orchestration, and event-driven automation.
- Understanding of TMF Open APIs and telecom automation frameworks.
- Ability to implement safe automation with rollback, validation, audit, RBAC, and policy controls.

- TM Forum Open API certification.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Google Vertex AI, Gemini APIs, BigQuery, or similar platforms.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, or agentic AI execution frameworks.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Netcracker, Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco NSO, Juniper Paragon, or similar orchestration platforms.
- Experience building secure automation for production telecom environments.
