We’re looking for an experienced and forward thinking Automation & Risk Specialist to join our IT team, supporting high quality delivery across SAP and non-SAP systems.
This is a full time role with a hybrid working pattern, with the expectation of 2 to 3 days, as and when required in Ansty.

As an Automation & Risk Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving automated and risk-based testing activities across a complex technology landscape.
- You’ll help improve quality, reduce production incidents, and support continuous improvement through automation, analytics, and smarter test planning.
- This is a high impact role where you’ll influence automation strategy, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with teams across IT delivery, development, and operations.
What you’ll be doing
Lead automation & risk-based testing
- Lead automated and risk-based testing activities across SAP and non-SAP systems
- Design and refine Risk-Based Testing strategies using Tricentis LiveCompare
Develop & maintain automation frameworks
- Integrate LiveCompare outputs into Tosca and Selenium frameworks
- Support automation strategy development and migration of manual scripts into automated testing
Improve quality & reduce incidents
- Manage testing activity following production incidents
- Prioritise fixes, re-tests, and defect prevention activities
Drive continuous improvement
- Support the development of testing standards, metrics, and optimisation plans
- Lead Community of Practice events and continuous improvement initiatives

Lead & collaborate across teams
- Manage and support a team, including direct reports and augmented resources
- Work collaboratively with development teams, architects, analysts, and stakeholders
What you’ll bring
You’ll be a strong technical specialist with hands on automation experience and a passion for driving quality and continuous improvement. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy solving complex testing and delivery challenges.
Experience
- Strong experience designing and implementing test automation strategies
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks in SAP environments
- Experience leading teams and managing testing resources
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, and automation frameworks
- Experience using Tricentis LiveCompare or similar risk-based testing tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage test backlogs, prioritisation, and defect prevention
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
