Role: Automation Test

Location: Glasgow, UK

Onsite Requirement: 3 days/week

Contract Type: 6 Months FTC

Client: Mphasis

Job Description

  • Proficiency in Selenium Java and Playwright
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman/Restful.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
  • Define and implement test strategies for functional, regression, performance, and cross-browser testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
  • Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
