Role: Automation Test Engineer - QA Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $25–$80/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a QA Automation Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks.
- Execute test cases to identify defects and track resolutions through bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Recommend improvements to testing processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
