Automation Test Engineer
Senior Test Automation Engineer – Security & Validation
Key Responsibilities
-
Build and maintain an automated test framework (Python/PyTest) for:
- API, event, and graph-based services
- Write, define, and execute test plans/cases/data aligned with requirements and technical specs
- Maintain functional (FR) and non-functional (NFR) requirement traceability
-
Validate Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts including:
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC)
- ReBAC (Relationship-Based Access Control)
- Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC)
- Test decision points "as code" (policy-as-code)

Perform API automation, contract testing, and replay/reprocessing scenarios

Validate graph data (nodes, relationships, hop logic) and events:
- Experience in Neo4J preferred
- Test change behaviour and event lineage

- Generate regulatory evidence for compliance requirements
- Support entry/exit criteria and test governance activities

Create and manage Jenkins pipelines for:
- CI/CD automation
- Test executions and reporting

Log, track, and drive defects through triage to closure via:
- JIRA / Zephyr
- Communicate progress to stakeholders

Collaborate across teams:
- Cloud Security, DevOps, and Engineering
- Contribute to improving quality and testability
Must-Have Skills
- Python Development & PyTest Automation
- Experience in building reusable test utilities
- REST API Automation & Testing Tools
- Insomnia, Apidog, Postman
- API Gateway testing
- Pub/Sub and Message Queues (MQ)
- Replay/reprocessing
- Idempotency-style validation
- Database Testing Experience
- Preference for GraphDatabases (GraphDB) testing or NoSQL database validation
- IAM & Access Control Models
- RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, PBAC
- Understanding of authentication and access control mechanisms
- Policy-as-Code Testing
- Testing decision points via "as code" approach
- Jenkins & CI/CD Mindset
- Jenkins pipeline creation/management
- Shift-left testing philosophy
- Test Governance
- FR/NFR traceability
- Entry/exit criteria reviews
- Test case coverage validation via reviews
