Automation Test Lead

🚀 We’re Hiring: Test Automation Lead

Salary: Up to £70K + Bonus Location: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite), Egham, Surrey Hours: 35/hour, 8am–6pm flexibility

A forward-thinking SaaS company—ranked among the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing (2023–2025)—is seeking a Test Automation Lead to elevate their Agile testing and automation efforts across multiple products.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Testing and Service Delivery, this leadership-focused role is centred on designing, optimising, and scaling test automation frameworks while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of automated test frameworks, ensuring scalability, reusability, and reliability

  • Own end-to-end test lifecycle planning for major releases, driving efficiency before launch
  • Troubleshoot framework bottlenecks, resolve technical issues while providing hands-on guidance

  • Mentor team members, upskill Google colleagues, and promote fresh "best practice" insights
  • Champion continuous improvement, reducing defect rates and quality assurance maturity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
