Role Description

This full-time, on-site Automotive Sales Advisor role is based at Cupra & Seat Ipswich.

The Automotive Sales Advisor will:

  • Greet and assist customers in the showroom, actively listening to their needs.
  • Recommend suitable vehicles and finance options.
  • Manage test drives, explain product features and benefits.
  • Prepare accurate quotations.
  • Guide customers through the sales and handover process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of brand models, offers, and promotions.
  • Use CRM systems to follow up on leads and nurture customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales, service, and finance teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Contribute to achieving individual and dealership sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening).
  • Proven customer service abilities with a focus on delivering a positive, professional experience.
  • Demonstrated sales abilities (negotiation, closing, target achievement).
  • Experience in training or coaching peers on products, processes, or customer interaction.
  • Comfort using dealership systems, CRM tools, and office software.
  • Knowledge of automotive products, finance options, and industry trends is advantageous.
  • Valid UK driving licence and ability to conduct test drives safely.
