About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our client based in Cirencester.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and guide them through the car buying process.
- Understand customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles.
- Provide detailed information about features, specifications, pricing, and financing options.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for new and used vehicles.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through proactive follow-ups and networking.
- Stay updated on the latest car models, features, and industry trends.
- Demonstrate vehicles during test drives and provide comprehensive product demonstrations.
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business or referrals.
- Work closely with colleagues in the dealership, including finance, service, and management teams, to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with paperwork, including sales agreements, financing applications, and registration.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

Who You Are
- Have 3 years experience in retail sales.
- Proven high customer service levels with a charismatic persona and good emotional intelligence.
- Demonstrate active listening skills being able to understand customers' wants, needs, and requirements.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Be able to analyse situations and identify potential hazards with solutions.
