Service Advisor
Waylands MG, Oxford

If so, you could be just who we at Waylands Automotive are looking for!
We’re currently looking for a Service Advisor for our MG franchise at our busy Oxford dealership, with an excellent customer base.
This role is to act as the liaison between our customers and service technicians and be the face of the business when customers come in for service and repair. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, listening to requests, scheduling appointments, estimating costs, and conducting inspections. Our Service Advisors work with customers to understand their vehicle issues and problems, determining the repair timeline, and liaise with our technicians to convey the customers' concerns with accurate repair descriptions.
Duties Will Include
- Communicating with customers regarding their vehicle needs.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat and return custom.
- Using online bookings, phone calls, and in-person interactions, to schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and vehicle pick-ups with customers, using our in-hours and manufacturer systems and processes.
- Keeping customers updated about the status of their vehicle through the workshop.
- Liaising with your technician colleagues about vehicle statuses, and ensuring that vehicles will be ready for customer on time.

About You
- You’ll be an active listener and excellent communicator.
- You’ll adopt a positive attitude with all customers.
- You’ll take ownership of the role and make it your own.
- You’ll get job satisfaction from providing an outstanding service to our customers.
- You’ll be comfortable working to deadlines.
- You’ll have a full UK driving licence.
- If you have Service Advisor experience, that’s great, but we are happy to train anyone with some experience in customer service.
Salary, Hours And Benefits
- Set rota that includes some Saturday’s (approx. 45 hours per week).
- Basic of up to £30,000 plus bonuses (OTE £40,800).
- 31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays, some of which you will be required to cover).
