Senior Vehicle Technician / Mercedes-Benz Specialist
Grays, Essex
Salary: £45,000–£65,000 per year (depending on experience, skills and qualifications)
AT Technicians Ltd is a well-established independent Mercedes-Benz specialist with over 15 years of experience. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Vehicle Technician to join our professional team.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys diagnostics, problem-solving and delivering high-quality workmanship. You will work independently in a modern workshop, using the latest Mercedes-Benz diagnostic equipment on a wide range of petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Mercedes-Benz experience is desirable but not essential

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Perform engine, suspension, steering, braking and transmission repairs
- Carry out timing chain, clutch and gearbox repairs where required
- Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and follow repair procedures
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements
- Complete job cards accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer and company quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures
