Automotive Trimmer

Location: Nr Daventry

Pay: £44,000 per annum (Temp to Perm)

Are you an experienced Automotive Trimmer who takes pride in producing exceptional vehicle interiors? Do you enjoy working with premium materials and delivering flawless craftsmanship on some of the world’s most prestigious luxury and performance vehicles?

This is your opportunity to join a highly skilled restoration team in a state-of-the-art facility in Daventry, where traditional craftsmanship meets cutting-edge automotive engineering.


Why This Role?

As an Automotive Trimmer, you’ll play a key role in creating bespoke interiors and precision-finished vehicles that are truly one of a kind.

Working alongside experienced craftsmen and technicians, you’ll help produce world-class automotive restorations, where every stitch, panel, and finish matters.


The Role

As an Automotive Trimmer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Interior trim installation, assembly, and fitment to exacting quality standards.
  • Removing, modifying, and refitting interior components to support bespoke vehicle builds.
  • Trimming and fitting premium interior materials, including:
    • Leather
    • Alcantara®
    • Fabrics
    • Carbon fibre components
  • Carrying out bench modifications, repairs, and rework to achieve a flawless finish.
  • Stripping, rebuilding, and aligning exterior trim and body panels where required.
  • Basic sewing and hand-stitching to support high-quality interior craftsmanship.
  • Inspecting completed work to ensure every vehicle meets luxury manufacturer standards.
  • Working closely with engineers and fellow technicians to resolve build challenges and support continuous improvement.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for a skilled Technician who is passionate about producing exceptional vehicle interiors.

Essential:

  • Previous experience as a Trim Technician or Vehicle Trimmer.
  • Experience working within luxury automotive, restoration, coachbuilding, classic vehicles, or motorsport environments.
  • Strong knowledge of fitting and working with:
    • Leather
    • Textiles
    • Alcantara®
    • Composite materials (carbon fibre experience advantageous).
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to work overtime when required.

Working Hours

  • Monday–Thursday: 07:00–16:30
  • Friday: 07:00–12:45 (Overtime available during weekdays and Saturdays.)
