Autonomous Manufacturing Delivery Lead – Cognite Program (Life Sciences)
Location: Macclesfield/Luton, UK (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Autonomous Manufacturing Delivery Lead to lead a large-scale Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) transformation program within a regulated Life Sciences environment.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in digital manufacturing transformation, with strong expertise in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Device manufacturing, autonomous operations, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the Cognite program across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Drive implementation of use cases including Predictive Maintenance, Digital Twins, Process Optimization, Asset Performance Management, Batch Analytics, and AI-driven insights.
- Oversee integration with MES, SCADA/PLC, Historian, ERP, Quality, and Data platforms.
- Manage governance, risks, budgets, and cross-functional global teams.
- Engage senior stakeholders across Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, IT, OT, and Supply Chain.
- Ensure compliance with GMP-regulated manufacturing environments and deliver measurable business value through improvements in OEE, reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.

- Strong program leadership experience managing £5M+ transformation programs.
- Expertise in Cognite Data Fusion, Industrial Data Platforms, Digital Twins, Industrial IoT, Azure Cloud, AI/ML, and MES.
- Excellent executive stakeholder management, change management, and value realization capabilities.
