Role Title: Autonomous Manufacturing Delivery Lead
Location: Macclesfield/Luton (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Inside IR35 Contract
Role Overview
The Autonomous Manufacturing Delivery Lead is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of a Cognite-based digital manufacturing transformation program for a Life Sciences client. The role combines program leadership, manufacturing domain expertise, data and AI transformation, stakeholder management, and value realization to drive the adoption of autonomous operations and data-driven decision-making across manufacturing sites.
Required Experience
Industry Experience
- 10+ years in manufacturing transformation or digital operations.
- Strong experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, or Medical Devices.
- Deep understanding of GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.

Delivery & Leadership
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation programs (£5M+).
- Proven track record managing global and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong executive stakeholder management capabilities.
Technical Expertise
- Cognite Data Fusion (preferred).
- Industrial Data Platforms.
- Digital Twin solutions.
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Industrial IoT and OT integration.
- Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- AI/ML and advanced analytics use cases in manufacturing.
