AV/VC Systems Engineer / Commissioning Engineer
London
Full-Time
We are looking for an experienced AV/VC Systems Engineer with a strong background in corporate AV integration, commissioning, and enterprise collaboration technologies. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who can confidently support projects from system design through commissioning, troubleshooting, and final client handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission and configure enterprise AV/VC systems
- Deliver on-site and remote technical support
- Produce and interpret system schematics (Visio or AutoCAD), signal flow diagrams, rack layouts, and cable schedules
- Support installation teams during deployment and integration
- Perform troubleshooting, fault finding, and live system diagnostics
- Configure and fine-tune conferencing platforms and DSP systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance and firmware upgrades
- Liaise with client IT departments to ensure successful network integration
- Support pre-sales technical design and solution development
- Participate in proof-of-concept demonstrations and technical handovers

Required Experience
- 2+ years in AV integration, commissioning, or service engineering
- Strong experience with:
- Crestron
- QSC / Q-SYS
- Cisco collaboration systems
- Biamp
- Yealink
- Logitech conferencing solutions
- Poly systems
- Experience commissioning:
- Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Zoom Rooms
- AV-over-IP systems
- DSP platforms
- Ability to read and create technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills
- Understanding of corporate network environments
Desirable Skills
- Experience with:
- Crestron NVX
- Dante level 3
- Cisco Room Kits
- Kramer Control
- Digital signage systems
- CTS / CTS-D certification preferred
- Experience working on global enterprise deployments
