We are looking for an Implementation Director to oversee media planning for several clients, including Flutter Group, Tesco and BT. The role centres around ensuring we deliver industry leading implementation recommendations, founded in insight, delivering business results and forging deeper relationship with clients. The candidate will require extensive media planning experience, with a proven track record in delivering industry leading media solutions for clients.
Within this role you will have involvement throughout the entire media planning process, ensuring the comms brief is fit for purpose and ladders back to measurable outcomes, pulling the strategy through into implementation recommendations and ensuring the buying of media stays true to the approach. You will also be responsible for leading the Implementation planning output of the team below you, whilst helping the agency to acquire new clients via new business.

As Implementation Director you would work directly with the Implementation Partner as part of the Implementation Leadership team to refine, expand and improve our product, leveraging the strength of WPP while ensuring it is fit for purpose for all of EM’s clients.

Experience in running a large team and managing development

A commercial approach so all decisions/proposals are aligned to the commercial objectives of the agency

A deep understanding of how to plan media across brand and response

Ability to influence the most senior and demanding clients/Directors/internal stakeholders to gain commitment and drive decisions

Deep Knowledge of industry media planning tools

Be able to pro-actively forge relationships with media owners, resulting in innovation opportunities

A track record for developing new ideas that have sound business benefit

Ability to spot new trends and disruptions before they hit the mainstream and implement them to create better work for our Directors and/or clients.

Clear understanding of the challenges our clients face in the industry and uses this to work proactively to find solutions and deliver value

Ability to extract and filter relevant insights / research to support planning decisions

Ability to tell compelling implementation stories
