About the Role
Link It Solutions is a growing smart home and AV integration company specialising in high-end residential and commercial projects. We are looking for an AV Installation Engineer who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning new technologies, and can deliver an exceptional experience for our clients.
Success in this role means consistently delivering high-quality installations, taking ownership of your work, working independently when required, and representing the company professionally on-site.
Responsibilities
- Install AV, networking, lighting control and smart home systems on client sites.
- Read and follow technical drawings, schedules and project documentation.
- Carry out first-fix and second-fix installations to a high standard.
- Use hand and power tools safely and professionally.
- Work closely with project managers, clients and other trades.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional work environment.
- Identify and resolve installation issues using practical problem-solving skills.
- Continuously learn and develop knowledge of new technologies and systems.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good spoken and written English.
- AV installation experience or relevant industry experience.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Professional and client-focused attitude.

Desirable
- Electrical experience or electrical qualifications.
- Experience with networking infrastructure.
- Previous experience working for an AV integration company.
- Experience with Control4, ELAN, Lutron, Rako or similar systems.
