This company is a fast-growing, full-service independent media agency, part of a wider group of eleven award-winning agencies. The business brings brand and performance marketing together through a zero-based trading approach, with a team of around 60 people and 15 new joiners since the start of this year, driven by significant new client wins.
The Role
The AV Investment Account Manager will be the day-to-day lead on one of the agency's biggest and highest-spending accounts, owning it end to end across AV, VOD, radio, OOH, and press. This is a buying-focused role with plenty of support and exposure to clients and senior management from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day delivery of always-on ATL activity, with primary focus on TV, VOD, and audio
- Deliver gold standard buying and best-in-class work to generate the best results for clients, ensuring consistent delivery against all buying parameters and audit commitments
- Work closely with wider investment and comms planning teams from brief through to activation and post-campaign analysis
- Build strong client relationships and get under the skin of clients' businesses and target audiences
- Utilise strong media owner relationships to negotiate and drive value for clients
- Take ownership and accountability for the account, ensuring all internal and external documents are accurate and finance processes are adhered to
- Keep abreast of market products and opportunities, bringing new ideas that challenge the status quo
- Help grow and develop juniors by putting together and managing individual development plans

What They Are Looking For
- A few years of TV and VOD buying and planning experience, ideally covering both DR and brand with audit experience
- Strong interest in and understanding of AV and other ATL channels
- Fluent in industry systems and tools: Mediaocean suite, TechEdge, TVSquared/Adalyser or similar
- Confident communicator and presenter, able to explain data-driven insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy, with the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
- Strong negotiation skills and media owner relationships
- Commercial awareness with a drive to deliver value for clients and the agency

Nice to Have
- Experience in other ATL channels: cinema, radio, OOH, publishing, digital audio
- Experience in working on new business pitches
- Experience managing a team and teaching new joiners
Salary is £35,000 – £40,000. Hybrid, Tue-Thu in the office.
