AV Technical Delivery Lead
Central London
Salary: £52,000 + Excellent Benefits
About the Role
Our client, a prestigious London-based organisation, is seeking an experienced AV Technical Delivery Lead to join its established in-house Audiovisual team.
This newly created leadership role sits between the AV Manager and a team of Senior AV Technicians and AV Technicians, ensuring the smooth day-to-day delivery of meetings, conferences, hybrid events, and live productions.
You'll take ownership of technical resource planning, team coordination, and operational excellence, ensuring technicians, equipment, and event spaces are fully prepared to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Senior AV Technician, Lead Technician, or Team Leader looking to progress into a management role within a professional in-house AV environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of Senior AV Technicians and AV Technicians.
- Plan technician and room resource requirements up to two weeks in advance.
- Coordinate the delivery of multiple meetings, conferences, hybrid events, and live productions.
- Ensure all event spaces are fully prepared ahead of each event.
- Allocate technical resources efficiently across multiple simultaneous events.
- Oversee the organisation, storage, and readiness of AV equipment.
- Conduct regular equipment audits and maintain accurate asset records.
- Support the AV Manager in maintaining exceptional operational standards.
- Mentor and develop members of the technical team.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Promote best practice in health & safety, housekeeping, and customer service.

Skills & Experience
You'll bring:
- Experience supervising or leading an AV technical team.
- Strong knowledge of corporate AV, conferencing, and live event technologies.
- Experience coordinating multiple event spaces and competing priorities.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, hybrid events, and integrated AV systems.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering high-quality technical services.
