AV Technical Producer / Technical Project Manager - Live Events

We are a well-established, successful and diverse events and media production company based in the beautiful surroundings of Abney Park in Cheadle, South Manchester. We specialise in the production of global events and creating exciting and innovative digital media primarily within the healthcare industry.

We're now looking for an Audio Visual Technical Producer / Technical Project Manager to join one of our busy project teams.

Technical AV and project management expertise is combined to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You'll develop the brief with the client - advising and guiding them through what's achievable - carrying out site visits, producing risk assessments, floor plans, method statements, budgets and technical specs, right through to managing on-site technical delivery of the project and management of third parties on-site.

Projects range from hybrid meetings, exhibition stands with delegate interaction involving detailed technical setups, to large-scale congresses with multiple internal meetings.

Keeping up to date with industry knowledge and trends is also key, as you'll work closely with our technical team colleagues to share ideas and research and implement new technologies.

Requirements

The successful applicant will have the following experience:

Technical AV and project management experience from brief to delivery gained within a similar events agency, and from a variety of event types Excellent communication and client handling skills Able to produce floorplans and other technical related schematics Experience of managing clients, event related suppliers, freelancers and other third parties
