Salary: Up to £29,000 (dependent on experience)

Your Responsibilities as an AV Technician

Equipment Operation

  • Assist in cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping, and repairing equipment before an event.
  • Drive Results: Ensure flawless event execution by setting up, operating, and breaking down basic audio-visual equipment:
    • On-time and accurate technical delivery
    • Troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly
  • Do the Right Thing: Comply with all Company security and safety measures and adhere to health & safety regulations:
    • Wear appropriate PPE
    • Report health & safety issues to the HSE Manager or Project Manager onsite
  • Work collaboratively on large-scale projects as part of a tech team.

Systems Knowledge

  • Do the Right Thing: Follow company processes, complete systems paperwork accurately, and use equipment sheets.
  • See the Bigger Picture: Increase revenue through floor up-selling techniques.
  • Work with clients to finalise invoices and coordinate with team members and vendors.

What We’re Looking For

  • Preferable: Previous experience in the Service & Hospitality industry.
  • Preferred: Experience in AV/Live Events.
  • Beneficial: Audio-visual or equivalent technical experience (education sector).
