Senior AV Technician
📍 Central London | 💼 Permanent, Full-Time | 💰 £42,000 - £46,000 + Bonus & Benefits

We are recruiting for a Senior AV Technician to join the growing onsite Audio Visual team at one of London's most prestigious and recognisable corporate locations.
Based within an iconic building in the heart of the city, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious AV professional looking to further develop their technical expertise within a high-profile client environment. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional AV and video conferencing support, ensuring world-class meeting and event experiences for stakeholders at all levels.
We're looking for a proactive, customer-focused individual who takes pride in delivering outstanding service, thrives under pressure, and is passionate about technology.
Working Hours
This role operates on a shift basis, with working hours falling between: 07:30 - 21:30 (40 hours per week)
Candidates must be able to reliably travel into Central London for these shift patterns.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior AV Technician, you'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining a wide range of AV and collaboration technologies while delivering seamless meeting and event experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a technical escalation point for AV and VC support issues
- Managing and resolving client escalations professionally and efficiently
- Performing daily meeting room and equipment checks
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding across AV and video conferencing systems
- Coordinating deliveries, removals, relocations and equipment logistics
- Supporting and running live AV events
- Conducting pre-event testing, including audio checks and microphone preparation
- Serving as the primary point of contact for event coordination
- Liaising directly with clients to understand event requirements
- Attending pre-production meetings for planned events
- Supporting and operating global production events
- Delivering exceptional meeting and event experiences for hosts and attendees
- Setting up and supporting video and audio conferencing solutions
- Investigating technical faults and recommending appropriate resolutions

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll bring strong technical knowledge alongside excellent customer service and communication skills.
You'll ideally have experience with:
- Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Poly solutions
- Video conferencing hardware including Teams Rooms, Webex, Poly and Logitech technologies
- Troubleshooting common AV/VC issues including audio feedback, connectivity and video failures
- Microsoft Teams Rooms, UC PCs, Polycom, Logitech and Crestron Flex solutions
- Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS and Extron technologies
- Delivering AV support within large corporate environments
In addition, you'll possess:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities

- The confidence to work with clients at all organisational levels

Essential Requirements
✅ Ability and willingness to successfully complete BPSS and SC security clearance
✅ Previous experience supporting corporate AV and collaboration technologies
✅ Professional approach and strong client-facing skills
