Location: Stansted Air Gateway
This is a permanent position with a competitive salary in which you’ll help us keep our people, aircrafts, facilities and packages safe. This important role will see you assess and screen packages to prevent and mitigate possible threats. Making your difference in security control, you’ll use various screening technology, processes, and procedures to screen packages and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. It’s also about working efficiently to ensure a smooth running of operation and meeting tight and critical deadlines.

- £13.00 per hour + £2.86 premium shift (payable for hours worked between 20:00 - 6:00)
- Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 19:00 - 22:30; Friday: 19:15 - 22:45

What you’ll do:
- Taking part in and verifying daily equipment inspections
- Safeguarding the air cargo network
- Escalating quality and process issues to ensure they are handled appropriately by your supervisor
- Monitoring general work areas
- Actively promoting effective Security culture.
What does it take to keep one of the world’s biggest and best shipping and logistics company running smoothly – and most importantly, safely?
What you’ll need:
- Basic literacy & numeracy
- Professional interest in safety and security
- The ability to successfully pass security checks, e.g., background, criminal records
- The ability to successfully pass an eye test (colour-blindness test)
- Good judgement, decision making and good communication skills
- Diligence and a keen eye for detail
