Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment are currently working with a leading UK-based rotary aviation organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering team supporting civil, military, and VVIP helicopter modification programmes within a regulated Part-21/145 environment.
You’ll be involved in hands-on electrical and avionic work, manufacturing and installing bespoke looms and systems, and working closely with design engineers to deliver customer-specific solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manufacturing and installing electrical looms and avionic systems on rotary aircraft
- Completing aircraft and workshop-based electrical tasks to approved design data
- Supporting bespoke modifications for MOD, emergency services, and VVIP customers
- Working closely with the Part-21 design office and engineering teams
- Removing and refitting aircraft panels, cowlings, and equipment
- Fault-finding and repairing aircraft wiring looms and avionic systems
- Supporting day-to-day hangar operations, including aircraft handling
- Maintaining high safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
- Working within a highly regulated aviation environment

- Level 2 qualification in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Background in aviation, automotive, marine, or transport engineering
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices
- Understanding of soldering, crimping, and wiring diagrams
- Ability to use basic test equipment (e.g. AVO)
- Comfortable working in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail with pride in workmanship
- Positive, reliable, and well-organised approach
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Competent using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
- Portfolio of relevant work
Desirable
- Experience building or installing wiring looms
- Avionics fault-finding and troubleshooting experience
- Previous experience in an aviation environment
- SAP and/or Envision experience
Additional Information
- DBS clearance and eligibility for SC clearance required
- Must meet UK Export Control requirements
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
- Shift work may be required (shift allowance payable)
- Occasional UK and overseas travel may be required
