AVP- Corporate Trust Client Services Manager - Structured Finance

We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of AVP Corporate Trust Client Services Manager - Structured Finance As part of HSBC Global Banking Issuer Services (ISV) has been providing trustee services for over 30 years and is one of the most experienced Trustees in the market. We provide trustee and agency services across a wide range of products, including Escrows, Project & Export Finance, Securitisation, Loans and Debt programmes. ISV operates in both the Debt Capital Markets and the Bank Debt Market (principally the Syndicated Loan Market) and manages a mix of business generation, documentation, operation, and relationship management/customer interface with a broad spectrum of globally based clients. The purpose of the role is to drive the Structured Finance Client Services proposition in developing and enhancing existing client relationships and to support the business’ growth plans. The job holder will be responsible for managing client relationships, with a focus on developing effective client relationships with key clients to ensure that service standards are delivered seamlessly, and that client queries are handled in a professional and effective manner As an HSBC employee in the UK, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. In this role you will: Own, build and manage a medium size portfolio of Structured Finance client relationships and further develop your understanding and knowledge of transactions with different structures/features. This includes performing regular client service reviews Provide support to clients on a variety of tasks by acting as the central point of contact for each Structured Debt transaction for the Issuer Services business Ensure that Issuer Services undertakes its contractual obligations in a timely and accurate manner for each Structured Finance transaction Build strong customer relationships ensuring that Issuer Services requirements are fully understood by the client Provide operational support and assistance (for the client portfolio) on any related issues to the Operations teams in Malaysia and India, and act as an escalation point for local management. Ensure we enhance, enrich and deliver a smooth on boarding experience for the client. Ensure coordination with all internal stakeholders to ensure all on boarding requirements are being delivered on schedule. Work closely with our Business Development Team to accompany and enhance the quality of our sales pitches Attendance at market events, networking and conference where applicable, staying close to market developments. To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Strong operational and product experience of Structured Debt transactions such as: Residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), Commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and Asset-backed securities (ABS) including the roles performed by agents Experience in the Corporate Trust business within Structured Finance/Securitisation. Strong networking and presentation skills required to build and enhance client relationships. Sound understanding of legal documentation governing the roles/products supported Proven ability to communicate with several teams on a daily basis both locally and globally. Ability to multi-task and manage frequently changing priorities. Strong verbal and written communication skills – must be able to communicate effectively both internally with senior managers, team members and clients.
