FP&A Professional Opportunity with Leading Commodities Firm in London

We are partnering with a leading Commodities firm in London, looking for a commercially minded, technically strong FP&A professional to join their Finance function at a critical time of transformation. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines core financial planning and analysis expertise with a genuine passion for modernising how finance reports, analyses, and communicates data.

You'll play a dual role: a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, HR, and Technology, and a driving force behind the automation and digitisation of our reporting processes using tools like Power BI and Power Automate.

What You'll Do

FP&A & Reporting

  • Lead key elements of the monthly management accounts and reporting cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of insight
  • Produce and enhance management reporting packs, including variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
  • Support reporting to Group Executives and Board level, delivering clear, concise financial narratives
  • Play a leading role in budgeting and rolling forecast processes, including scenario and run-rate analysis
  • Provide proactive analysis to flag risks, opportunities, and key business drivers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
