About the Role

As AVP of Insurance, you will shape Salesforce’s strategy for the Insurance & Wealth Management UKI (United Kingdom and Ireland) business, driving top-line growth, operational excellence, and a culture of innovation. This is a strategic leadership opportunity to build a high-performing sales organisation that aligns with Salesforce’s core values—Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, and Equality—and delivers transformative impact across two dynamic industries.

Your Mission

In this transformative role, you will:

  • Define the Strategy: Develop and execute a bold, forward-thinking growth strategy positioning Insurance & Wealth Management for industry leadership.
  • Drive Exponential Growth: Rapidly grow revenues and bookings through scalable, repeatable, and structured sales processes.
  • Inspire Excellence: Build and lead a high-performing sales team that delivers measurable results while fostering innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.
  • Champion Customer Success: Cultivate deep relationships with CxO-level stakeholders to unlock transformative value through Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional leaders (Marketing, Customer Success, Solution Engineering, Sales Strategy, and Employee Success) to align resources and drive customer-centric results.

Core Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership and Growth

  • Shape and execute Salesforce’s sales strategy for Insurance & Wealth Management UKI, driving year-over-year revenue growth and enhancing market positioning.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing customers while expanding Salesforce’s influence in the FSI (Financial Services Industry), Insurance, and Wealth Management sectors.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for digital transformation and innovation to position Salesforce as a category leader.

2. Sales Leadership and Operational Excellence

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales organisation, including Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Account Executives (AEs), with a disciplined focus on deal closure and execution.
  • Establish scalable sales processes and KPIs to ensure predictable growth across all deal sizes (RR, Mid-Market, and Large Transformative Deals).
  • Drive data-driven decision-making, forecasting, and reporting to ensure alignment with Salesforce’s operational goals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
