AVP Sales, EMEA North & Central

Sr. VP, EMEA Sales & Strategy

Overview

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals, critically and consistently evaluating their effectiveness to drive revenue growth and market expansion across the assigned EMEA vertical.
  • Provide accurate and clear visibility of team revenue, forecast, pipeline, and performance metrics to upper management through weekly forecast calls and proactive gap remediation.
  • Lead performance management efforts, establishing proactive management metrics, driving accountability, and supporting the strategic development of the sales team.
  • Meet with key partners to maintain strong relationships, evaluate partner mix, market trends, competition, and staffing needs to inform future growth strategies.
  • Identify, oversee, and recruit quality new reseller partners, collaborating with the management team to support acquisition activities and meet company goals.
  • Drive operational improvements to increase sales, grow the bottom line, and reduce costs while conducting all business activities in alignment with Hyland’s core values and competencies.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with strategic customers, participating in key account planning, executive sponsorship, and complex deal strategy to accelerate growth and customer success.
  • Drive pipeline creation by partnering closely with Marketing, Business Development, and Partners to ensure healthy demand generation, account penetration, and new logo acquisition.
  • Champion the adoption of Hyland’s Cloud and AI portfolio, driving sales transformation and ensuring teams effectively position modern solutions aligned to customer business outcomes.

Role Essentials

  • Proven experience developing and executing strategic business plans in a sales leadership capacity
  • Ability to build a high-performance sales culture through regular coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management
  • Skills to provide accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and revenue reporting to senior leadership
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across cross-functional and global teams
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand and articulate complex solutions to customers and partners

What We’d Like to See

  • Experience leading sales teams across the EMEA region, with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics
  • Background in channel or partner sales, including reseller identification, recruitment, and relationship management
  • Experience selling Cloud, AI, or platform solutions
  • Executive presence with C-Level customers
  • Experience leading organisational transformation & change
  • Experience working in a matrixed global organisation while influencing without authority
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales performance management practices
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation
