AWS Agentic AI Engineer / Contractor
We’re looking for experienced AWS / Python / TypeScript contractors to support a series of short-term proof-of-concept projects focused on agentic AI development and deployment.
About the Role You’ll be involved in designing, building, and deploying proof-of-concept solutions using AWS services, Python, TypeScript, and agentic development tools. The projects are expected to run between 6 and 12 weeks, with a focus on delivering tangible outcomes quickly.
Responsibilities Building and deploying POCs on AWS Developing agentic AI workflows and applications Using tools such as Cursor as part of the development process Working with Python and TypeScript Exploring and implementing technologies such as Strands and AgentCore Turning early-stage ideas into working, demonstrable solutions Collaborating with internal technical stakeholders to define scope, delivery approach, and deployment plans

Qualifications Strong hands-on AWS experience Commercial experience with Python Experience with TypeScript Exposure to agentic AI tools, frameworks, or workflows Experience using Cursor or similar AI-assisted / agentic development tools Ability to build and deploy rapid POCs Comfortable working on short-term, outcome-focused projects Strong communication skills and the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision Nice-to-have Skills Experience with Strands Experience with AgentCore Previous experience delivering AI, automation, or cloud-native proof-of-concepts Experience taking POCs into deployable or production-ready environments

Pay range and compensation package
Rate: £450–£600 per day IR35: Outside IR35 Location: Remote Duration: 6–12 weeks initially Start: ASAP / short notice preferred
