AWS AI Solutions Architect

Role: AWS AI Solutions Architect Location: London, UK Frequent Travel: Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, France, Spain, Switzerland Experience Requirement: 15+ years

About the Role

As an AWS AI Solutions Architect, you will be a key member of the Europe Account and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, responsible for shaping, selling, and demonstrating modern cloud and AI-led solutions for strategic customers. This is a highly customer-facing role, spanning:

  • Solution architecture
  • RFP ownership
  • Proof-of-concept (PoC) creation
  • Executive-level demonstrations

With a strong emphasis on AWS AI services and modern application architectures. This is a delivery and pre-sales mix role requiring strong hands-on expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, leading deep architectural discussions across cloud, data, and AI.
  • Partner with sales and account teams to articulate the value of Birlasoft’s AWS and AI offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with:
    • Senior customer architects
    • Engineering leaders
    • CIO/CTO stakeholders

Solution Architecture & AI Innovation

  • Design end-to-end AWS solutions covering:
    • AI/ML/GenAI
    • Cloud-native applications
    • Data platforms
    • Modernization efforts
  • Lead PoC and demo creation, including:
    • GenAI
    • Copilot-style AI
    • Agentic AI demonstrations
  • Define scalable, secure, high-performance architectures, aligned with AWS best practices

RFPs, Proposals & Go-To-Market (GTM) Assets

  • Own and lead RFP responses for:
    • AWS
    • AI
    • Cloud transformation initiatives
  • Create proactive propositions and solution POVs for strategic accounts.
  • Conduct customer workshops and design sessions to co-create high-impact solutions.

Alliance & Ecosystem Collaboration

  • Work closely with AWS Alliance Managers and partner teams.
  • Align solutions with:
    • AWS reference architectures
    • Funding programs
    • Industry best practices
  • Collaborate with internal practices to accelerate customer outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in:
    • Cloud architecture
    • Solution design
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • AWS (compute, storage, networking, security, serverless, containers)
    • Proven experience with AWS AI/ML services, including:
      • Agent Core
      • Amazon Bedrock
      • SageMaker
      • Comprehend
      • Textract
      • GenAI patterns (RAG, copilots, agents)
  • Strong development experience with:
    • Java and/or Python
    • Frontend exposure to React or modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience in:
    • Application modernization
    • Cloud migration
    • DevSecOps
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience in:
    • Consulting or pre-sales roles
  • Strong skills in:
    • Presentation
    • Communication
    • Executive storytelling
