AWS Application Developer
Tasks AWS Application Developer
Location: London *( Hybrid)
6months+ Contract with possible extension
Role Overview: Seeking an experienced AWS Application Developer with expertise in serverless and event-driven architectures to build scalable cloud-native applications and support modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop cloud-native applications using AWS serverless services

Build event-driven and streaming data pipelines
Modernize legacy applications to microservices and API-first architecture
Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (CDK/CloudFormation)
Ensure monitoring, logging, and system reliability (CloudWatch)
Requirements Key Skills
AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Kinesis Data Streams

DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions
TypeScript & Node.js (mandatory), Python (good to have)
Serverless & Event-driven architecture
Experience & Qualifications
Strong AWS application development experience
Experience with microservices & cloud-native architecture
Knowledge of REST APIs & distributed systems
AWS Certified Developer (preferred)
