AWS Cloud Security Architect | National Security | London | Up to £94,000 + £7,000 DV Bonus + Outstanding Package

I'm partnered with one of the UK's leading Defence and National Security consultancies, who are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Security Architect to join their rapidly growing National Security practice in London.

This is an opportunity to work on some of the UK's most sensitive and technically challenging cloud programmes, helping deliver secure-by-design AWS environments for mission-critical systems that directly support national security.

You'll work alongside some of the industry's best cloud architects and cyber specialists, influencing large-scale cloud migration programmes as well as greenfield cloud-native solutions.

The role

  • Design and lead secure AWS cloud architectures for high-assurance environments
  • Embed Security by Design throughout cloud migration and cloud-native programmes
  • Carry out threat modelling and security risk assessments
  • Apply security controls aligned to legal, regulatory and industry frameworks
  • Work closely with solution architects, engineering teams and cyber specialists
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor other cloud security engineers
  • Drive improvements in AWS security posture across complex enterprise environments

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
