AWS DevOps Engineer

London (Hybrid – typically 1 day per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £80,000

We're partnering with a growing technology-led business operating a large-scale cloud platform and looking to add a hands-on DevOps Engineer to their engineering team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, building solutions from scratch, and taking ownership of cloud infrastructure rather than simply maintaining existing environments. You'll work as part of cross-functional product teams, helping to improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and developer efficiency across a predominantly AWS estate.

The team values curiosity, initiative, and continuous improvement. They're looking for someone who enjoys learning, challenges the status quo, and takes pride in delivering meaningful engineering outcomes.

The Role

You'll work closely with software engineers, QA engineers, and data teams to design, build, and optimise infrastructure that supports business-critical applications and data platforms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
