Design, build, and operate AWS infrastructure that underpins key platforms and services as the organisation transitions to the cloud.

Major Responsibilities

  • Deliver backend infrastructure operations, including:
    • Server management

    • Storage and failover strategies
    • Logging and observability
  • Build and maintain core AWS services across compute, networking, storage, and identity, such as:

  • Collaborate with application, DevOps, and security teams to deliver resilient cloud solutions
  • Integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and repeatable deployments
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices
  • Investigate incidents, contribute to root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement
  • Support security, compliance, and audit requirements in cloud environments, including regulated or security-sensitive contexts
  • Work with cloud partners and vendors, including AWS and third-party solutions, on architecture reviews and optimisation
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes to reduce manual effort
  • Document infrastructure, standards, and operational processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
