This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading international sports organisation as they continue investing in their cloud and technology capabilities. You will help shape and evolve the organisation's AWS platform, building the cloud foundations that support enterprise systems and world-class sporting events.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building and continuously improving the organisation’s AWS cloud platform and Landing Zone
- Developing reusable Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to deliver scalable and consistent cloud environments
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation to improve software delivery and operational efficiency
- Managing core AWS platform services, including networking, IAM, observability, and governance
- Embedding security, compliance, and best practice across the cloud platform
- Partnering with engineering teams to drive platform adoption and enhance the developer experience
- Continuously improving platform resilience, automation, and cost optimisation

Requirements
- Proven experience designing, building, and supporting AWS cloud environments
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
- Solid understanding of AWS networking, IAM, and cloud security best practices
- Experience with ECS, Kubernetes (EKS) or containerised platforms
- Linux administration and scripting experience
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- AWS Associate Certification; Professional certification is advantageous
