Aesthetics Business Partner Director
Location: Paris. Full relocation required; this is not a remote or commuting role.
Reports to: Senior commercial leadership within the aesthetics business.
The opportunity
Our client is an established global pharmaceutical group with a fast-growing medical aesthetics franchise. Much of that growth runs through a major, long-standing commercial alliance with an external partner, now central to the franchise's global performance and increasingly complex to manage. This is a newly created opportunity to own the aesthetics expertise inside that partnership: a genuine blank page, with senior exposure from day one.
The role
You Will Be The Aesthetics Knowledge Bridge Between The Alliance And The Wider Business, The Person Who Can Independently Make Sense Of What The Partner Will Not Explain. You Will
- Represent commercial interests inside the alliance's senior governance forums, including its joint executive committee.
- Independently reconstruct and pressure-test the partner's demand and sales forecasts, identifying where the numbers don't add up.
- Build and defend business cases as part of long-range planning, working closely with brand, finance and alliance stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level analysis for senior leadership, including regular contact with the C-suite.
- Partner across finance, supply chain, regulatory, medical and legal functions to keep the partnership running coherently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This role does not cover day-to-day operational management of the alliance; that sits elsewhere. This is the analytical and representational seat at the table.
What We Are Looking For
- Deep, credible experience in medical aesthetics (injectables and/or devices), strong enough to independently judge whether commercial numbers are plausible.
- A strategic, analytical background, ideally consulting-founded, with business cases that hold up at senior level.
- Experience inside or alongside a complex commercial partnership, alliance or distributor relationship, ideally one where the other side doesn't make it easy.
- The gravitas to represent the business at board or executive-committee level, including with a partner that won't always cooperate.
- An advanced degree; MBA or equivalent a strong plus.
- Full relocation to Paris.

The growth
This is a franchise built substantially on partnership, and the partnership is only becoming more important to the business. The role carries real senior exposure from the outset, and both the remit and the seat will grow as the alliance does.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
