We’re hiring: Azure Cloud Architect
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, governance, security, and networking architecture of enterprise Azure environments.
This role is ideal for a senior cloud professional with strong expertise in Azure Landing Zones, Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Enterprise Scale Architecture, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Networking, Security, Governance, and Infrastructure as Code.
Contract: Fixed-term or B2B via EU
Duration: Initial 2–3 months, with rolling extensions
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to client site in Lancaster

Travel: Approximately 1–2 days per month to Lancaster
Day rate: Open, depending on experience
Key focus areas include:
- Azure Landing Zone design and governance
- Cloud security, IAM, RBAC, Conditional Access and PIM
- Hub-Spoke, Virtual WAN, Private Link, ExpressRoute and Azure Firewall architecture
- Infrastructure automation using Terraform, Bicep and CI/CD pipelines
- Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, backup, disaster recovery and operational resilience
- Architecture reviews, risk assessments, compliance documentation and remediation roadmaps
Required experience:

- 10–15+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud technologies
- 5+ years designing enterprise Azure solutions
- Strong background in Azure governance, security and enterprise cloud adoption
- Experience in regulated environments such as financial services, healthcare or public sector is an advantage
Certifications preferred:
- AZ-305 and AZ-104 required
- AZ-500, AZ-700 and SC-100 highly desirable
