About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Specialist to join Reed's dynamic infrastructure team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a hybrid environment, supporting both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining the company's cloud and data center services, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and scalable to meet evolving business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, applications, and service management, to deliver innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency and strategic growth.
This position is ideal for a technology professional passionate about cloud infrastructure, problem-solving, and delivering impactful technological advancements. Qualifications
- Strong background in managing enterprise cloud and server infrastructure
- Proven hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and related technologies
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows Server environments
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support and management for cloud and server platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead the technical delivery of infrastructure upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, implementing preventative measures to reduce recurrence.
- Manage and optimize Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows Server environments to improve efficiency and security.
- Identify opportunities for improving platform performance, reliability, scalability, and cost management.
- Support automation efforts to streamline operational processes and reduce manual interventions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, sharing knowledge across teams.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of strategic technology programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
